Feminist Student Union

Mission Statement

The Feminist Student Union (previously known as the Womyn’s Center) is a central location which sponsors services that support the safety, leadership development, empowerment, and community engagement of gender minorities.  All members of the community, regardless of gender, race, age, class, sexual orientation, religion, ability, or ethnicity are welcome.

About

The FSU is Lewis & Clark College’s feminist activist group and resource center for people of all genders.
We hold meetings every Wednesday at 3:30pm.

Description

The FSU aims to be a safer space and resource on campus for people of all genders, races, ethnicities, and sexual orientations. We host a variety of speakers, film screenings, discussion groups, and other campus events throughout the year, in addition to daily walk-in confidential peer counseling. We also have a library of feminist-related books and DVDs, and offer a variety of resources like condoms/other safer sex supplies, tampons/pads, Plan B and pregnancy tests, all of which are totally free! Everyone is welcome at our meetings – Wednesdays @ 3:30pm.
