What’s In Store for Energy in 2015

The Source - Lewis & Clark at 10.54.35 AMAs we move into spring term and a new calendar year, many of us think about getting organized, planning projects and improving our budgets. Facilities Services is doing the same, looking forward to a number of energy saving initiatives in 2015 to help reduce utility costs and improve service.

Over the break, Watzek Library was outfitted with numerous LEDs which will proliferate throughout the campus in the coming year, improving light quality and control. Similarly, upgrades to heating and cooling equipment and controls will improve service to numerous areas. For your office space, Facilities Services staff will be coming by with educational materials, products and space heating technical assistance. You will also see new and improved multifunction copiers/printers arrive for many departments early this year, through a new service coordinated by the Business Office and IT.

If you have specific feedback regarding energy use in your department or office space, please contact Amy Dvorak 503-768-7794. We appreciate your time!
