Tom Krattenmaker, associate vice president for Public Affairs and Communications, has accepted the position of director of communications at Yale Divinity School. He will leave Lewis & Clark in mid-October.
In addition to his leadership of PubCom, Krattenmaker is an award-winning writer in the sphere of religion and public life. His position at Yale will draw on his broad talents.
Krattenmaker joined Lewis & Clark in 2006 and has spent the past eight years building relationships and enhancing the image of the entire institution. He arrived just as Lewis & Clark embarked on its first-ever strategic communications planning process. Krattenmaker led the initiative involving the board of trustees, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends.
“Tom has been a positive, thoughtful, creative leader on our campus, and he will be missed,” Dean for Enrollment and Communications Lisa Meyer said.
Previously Krattenmaker worked at Swarthmore College and Princeton University.
